A low purchase price does not automatically make a script inexpensive to deploy. Check licensing, update history, PHP compatibility, framework requirements, documentation, hosting requirements and whether the features you need actually exist.

It is usually cheaper to identify a poor fit before purchase than to force a script into a business model it was never designed to support.
